The Minor League Draft will start Monday at 12 noon.
I figured we would start this one simultaneously as the other one. This draft you will recieve 6 hours to make a pick. That way you get a lot longer in case you have to look up some things.
International Players-
The international players will inherit their contracts that they currently have. So any of the Parks, or the Oliveras will inherit the contract that they were signed for but are Prospects.
WHILE they are in the minors, the contracts will be the same as every other minor leaguer the contract will activate once they gain the 130 abs or innings pitched quota, or you put them on your active roster.
For more info on minor leaguers check out the drat info and the minor leaguers rules.
Good luck everyone!

Can we randomize the order again for this draft? I know we're doing snake, but it seems a little unfair that one team gets first pick in both.

They dont. It's backwards, so NJ who had the last pick in the MLB Draft has first pick in the minors draft

I think doing concurrent drafts wouldn't work to well for me, personally. I'm firewalled most of the day at work, and on the left coast. I have a lunchtime window to sort through things, meaning around 2-3pm est, and then I can focus on things later at night, like after midnight est. Concurrent drafts would mean making 2 picks 2 different times of the day, while doing all the separate research.
Beyond that, the major league draft is going to get harder as all the obvious picks get taken. And just my opinion but I'd much prefer waiting until towards the end of spring training to draft minor leaguers. Every year, someone unexpected makes a major league roster, while someone who was supposed to gets shipped out. For example, I am closely tracking Blake Snell. He could make the Rays, or be kicked back all the way to A-ball. That would certainly affect where I would choose to draft him. If Blake Snell makes the big leap to the majors out of ST, then I'd be taking him in the top 3 draft slots. If he falters and his hype bubble bursts, maybe he is a 2nd or 3rd rounder. I'd rather wait to see before drafting.

I agree, lets finish the majors draft and free agency first then do the minors draft

I'm kind of with the other guys. A lot of prospect watches haven't fully be revealed yet. I don't follow them by the book but they are my reference for prospects
