Rule Clarification on Players with Team Options

According to this discussion thread and voting, player options were dropped and all those years were considered guaranteed.

Nothing has ever been mentioned about Team/Club options, and that needs to be clarified before FA starts in this league.

To my understanding, if we drafted a player (in the original draft) who had a club option, that was something we could choose to exercise.

Bumping this, cause I would like some clarification.

Players on my team affected are Ian Kinsler and Asdrubal Cabrera. And I'm sure it affects quite a few others that aren't listed on the contracts page.

Given the lack of responses here, I'm assuming we can still opt out of contracts.

I'm choosing to not pick up the options on Ian Kinsler, Asdrual Cabrera, and Huston Street.

Yea team options are your options. You are allowed to decline them and the cash doesn't count towards your money. You could also accept them at that amount.
