Free agency will begin on Wednesday morning at 8 am EST. This will give the admins time to email everyone so we don't have to hear people complain about how they weren't ready. Covering our own asses. Also remember, you can only post two players at a time to avoid clutter. You can bid on as many as you'd like

As far as cutting players on our current rosters, can we do that before free agency starts? And can we use our one no penalty drop?

Yeah, but you only get one until next offseason so you might want to be absolutely positive on who if you're using it this early.

Quick note, you have until the season starts to figure out who will start in your AAA club. On Fantrax, you must move them to your minors. Any move that puts a player into or out of the minors _must_ be accompanied by a post on this forum (Call Ups/Send Downs board). This does not use a player option, and any player is eligible to start in AAA, even if they would otherwise need to pass through waivers.

Does that really not use an option? That's not how it works in the MLB. Where is this rule specified?

IIRC, we don't penalize sending players down or calling them up during the offseason so everyone has a chance to get their rosters in order before the season. Once the season starts, so do the options.

Just a reminder, add your own players on fantrax.
