Arbitration Salaries

Now like we said on the rules page, we are using MLBtraderumors.com for projected arbitration salaries as it is one of the most accurate and trust worthy sites, to give you guys some time to make your decisions and plan ahead, and so we can get players ready for free agency. If your player gets more money in his case, your salary will remain at this number. If he gets less, we will give you the savings and adjust the salary, so its a win-win! This is just a list, you can reply on this thread who you accept and who you decline. Whoever you decline will become a RFA, so you could match his deal in free agency, you'll just be gambling if it will be more or less. The deadline will be December 1st to decide, and you can wait until I update the rosters in the coming days to see where you stand financially.

Also, would you guys like me to type in the projected salaries on the contract page instead of ARB so that you know how much it will affect the bottom line? and then delete them if you decline? or would that be too confusing?

Also, if you want to do that, I would have a special background color picked out for them so it's a bit more obvious. It's also fair (I think) to say the contract is accepted unless otherwise noted.

I thought we only get 2 RFA's per year. So if we elect not to give out arbitration, we get to choose what type of free agent the player is. Right?

Yes, I believe you are correct.

You only get 2 RFA's per year.  If you choose not to offer arbitration to a player, you can RFA them, and it will count towards that limit, or you can just "cut" them and they will become a regular FA.
