If your talking about someone like Seager, they never received enough at bats to to lose the rookie status, so they are still technically minor leaguers. Also, international free agents that don't have enough at bats count

But I was just wondering not trying to get ne one upset. I feel like they should be given opportunity like the rest u know

Oh no I know you weren't trying to start anything. We had the same questions during the draft, someone tried drafting Seager and Park, I tried drafting Matz. It's all good

No I understand Corey is minor leaguer though and was drafted. I understand the Cuban for the sox he signed major league deal. But he was quite young lol these three guys are veterans over there. That was my question.

They are still considered rookies by mlb rules they haven't had enough at bats to be considered mlb players so the best way to do it was to allow them to be drafted but they inherit the contracts that they signed

We couldn't say everyone under this many at bats except if you are from Japan , Cuba ok minors but Korea and Japan this draft so they fell in there due to technicality
