Remember everyone that is available in the minors leagues is available for the draft! That means players that were not taken earlier as well!!! Good Luck |

How will the draft work exactly? Are these players added on to the minor leaguers on our rosters? And will there be a list of players available to be drafted, or should I find one online?

So in the draft thread we will start a thread for each round each person will have about 6 hours to make a selection if they don't they are skipped. The time against you doesn't count during the late hours or early morning I believe our time was 10pm to 9 am est time where the clock doesn't count against you.
Any minor leaguer who has not been taken is available to be taken so guys who have kind of broke out or anyone picked in the draft this year plus international players who have signed

What about roster size? Do these players drafted replace ones already on our roster? Or do rosters expand until the end of the season. Sorry, I'm trying to comb through old messages to find info, but there is a lot of content to digest

Each minor leaguers costs 100k until you call them up to your active roster. They don't have to be called up until they hit the minimum of at bats or IP in the rules section then they have to become part of your active roster or in the Aaa where they start to get paid a normal contract

You are allowed 40 players between AAA and the MLB rosters. The MLB roster is the ESPN roster. Guys on the Disabled List do not count against your roster limit (but can count for it). You must have at least 30 guys, and have the ESPN roster fully filled (a grace period of 48 hours is allowed, and there only needs to be an attempt to fill it, so having the currently winning bid on a player counts). The minor leaguers have a 100k salary and do not count towards any roster requirement. Players can be freely moved from the Majors/AAA rosters to the minor league roster as long as they are below the limits for such things. |
