So check it out, you can participate if you want or you can skip it, but the winner of the season predictions will win a 2nd round pick in next years minors draft(at the end of the round).
Its real simple, you predict who is going to win each division, who will get the two wild cards from each league. Each division winner will be worth 4 points, wild card winner is worth 2. After that you will predict each round of the playoffs starting with the wild card games from each league. Wild card game is worth 3 points if you pick the winner, division round is worth 8 if you have all 4 correct (individual 2 for each team), championship round 10 if you get both right (if you only get 1 team its 5), and world series you get 15 points for picking the champions. The tie breaker will be if you can pick how many games the world series will end in.
EXAMPLE FOR THE PLAYOFF SCORING USING LAST YEARS PLAYOFFS
WILDCARD
(Houston) vs NY Yankees- CORRECT: 3 POINTS
(Pittsburgh) vs CHI Cubs- WRONG: 0 POINTS
DIVISIONAL
(NY Mets) vs LA Dodgers- CORRECT: 2 POINTS
(St. Louis) vs (Pittsburgh)- WRONG: 0 POINTS
(Houston) vs Kansas City- WRONG: 0 POINTS
Texas vs (Toronto)- CORRECT: 2 POINTS
LCS
(NY Mets) vs St. Louis- CORRECT: 5 POINTS
Toronto vs (Houston)- WRONG: 0 POINTS
WORLD SERIES
(NY Mets) vs Houston- WRONG: 0 POINTS
BONUS!!!!!!!!! You can also predict the winner of the two Cy Young awards and MVP awards. For every one you get right, you get an extra 2.5 mil in cap space next year. So if you get all 4, you can get 10 mil.

Well in my other league we actually would do wagers. It works out decent no one wagers a lot of money but say one guy opens a thread and says I am taking bets on unc winning the final four I'll do a one mil to the other three teams and people can the. Bid against him. Usually it's a one on one bet or two on one. Mid season could be home run derby and the all star game
