I guess it's only fitting that everybody introduces themselves.
My name is Eric. I'm a computer programmer and I will be co-commishing with kickthepony. I have run a few football leagues before this will be the first time that I run a baseball league. Our goal is to run a awesome dynasty league that everyone can have a good time enjoying. Hopefully this will turn into a community type deal as well and everyone stays around for the long haul. I'm a Mets fan through and through. Been hanging with them since the beginning of time. Got a family at home, just had twins, so yea... that's fun. Hmm anything else? I've got xbox live in case anyone else has that = number1dork

I'll jump in. I'm Tom, some of you might know me as kickthepony. This is my first time running this type of league. I am also a Mets fan as you know. Got no family, and have a PS4 (already friends with TummySticks on there.

My name is David and I'm one of the folks from the Astros reddit. I'm in the heat tracing business as a designer at the moment while I finish up college (hopefully before 30). I've played a few different fantasy baseball leagues, but none with having to manage payrolls. I'm looking forward to shooting myself in the foot, and then trying to play it off like I have some sort of genius plan. No xbox, but ps4 tag is dt1109.
Looking forward to the season and thanks for letting me in.

I'm Chris. My reddit /u/ is the same as my username here. I was a software developer in my first job, I do less development these days and more project management, prototyping and testing hardware (trust me, it's a weird turn).
I developed and maintain the game day bot for /r/Astros, a project I started as I graduated from college. I haven't had much experience with fantasy baseball, but do play quite a bit of fantasy football, and know a fair deal of baseball stats, which I plan to use to dominate the league. OK, that's a bit cocky, cause let's be real, I'm gonna finish dead last for the first few years until I get this all figured out, at which point I will finish 2nd to last.
Uh, yea. I'm a huge Astros fan, despite never living all that close to Houston. I have spent most of my life in the Dallas area, but growing up my grandparents lived in Houston and took me to tons of games. I grew up watching Biggio and Bagwell in the dome, and then Berkman and Oswalt in Enron/MMP.
I don't own any console games, and generally don't play many games outside of OOTP. I'm a bit of a strategy/puzzle fan. I do like chess, so if you ever want to play a match, I can lose there too!
Edit: Team name is Jose Altruve

Hey guys what are your team names going to be? I can get you guys on the contracts page. Also this is so much like OOTP you are going to love it, even with the amount of rules hahaha. We will guide everyone through that though.
Where I work we are going through taking a Wordperfect environment and changing it to Microsoft Word. Its so archaic and old and difficult to fix.

I'm Dennis. Over the last calendar year I've plagued /r/Astros with my substandard commentary. I run, which is a generous term for what I do, /r/AstrosCirclejerk (shameless plug for the best sub in the game). I am in my last year of undergrad, I'm getting my degree in Psychology with a minor in English. One would think with the frequency that I am asked the question "so what are you going to do with your degree" that I may have an actual answer at this point. There are a couple grad school programs I am looking at and I am actively searching for employment, but nothing is set in stone for me at the moment.
As far as baseball is concerned, I was a late bloomer. I didn't really start liking baseball until my teens. It was when I found out about the realm of sabermetrics that drew me into the game. Despite never living close to Houston (I suppose right now is the closest I've ever been to living there and I'm about 2 hours away) I picked the Astros. Seeing as I did this in 2010 it may be a very confusing decision and there is a long story behind it.
My team name will be Gauchistas.

Just joined today! My name is Colin, 28 years old, I work for Chiquita Banana in Wilmington, Delaware. I do banana ripening. No kids, but I am getting married on July 2nd of this year.
As far as sports go, I didn't get into baseball until I was in my early twenties. I'm a Red Sox fan, which is awesome because my future in-laws are all Yankee fans. I've done fantasy baseball before, but this is the first year I'm actually joining a league that interacts with each other. Totally looking forward to when I come in last place here!
My reddit name is Spandemonium, and I have an XBOX live account. Same name as my username here.
Looking forward to playing with everyone here!

Hi guys,
I'm Rob Barker, a 38 year old Garden Designer (a second career, my first was a struggling singer/songwriter), living in Hertfordshire, England, married to an Australian and we have two little Red Sox (a daughter nearly 4 and a son 5 months). I have been playing fantasy baseball for over ten years but fell in love with the sport when I was about 9 when my Mum (who had lived for awhile in the states before I was born) gave me a mitt and bat for Christmas. At the time it was like showing my friends a gift from another planet. I was taken to Fenway when I was 14 and have been a Red Sox ever since. Love reading, listening and watching anything to do with baseball. Try to catch Boston as often as I can but I am happy watching any team play (you have to be with time zones to think of). Really looking forward to the new season and being part of the league with you all.
For twitter please follow me at @rob_Barker77
I will spend a unhealthy amount of time choosing a team name.

Did you get your email carp? From ESPN? I just saw it this morning. ESPN is blocked here at work so once I get home tonight I'll jump on and accept the invitation

Awesome, and horribly lame about it being blocked.

Dude, its terrible. ESPN is blocked, but Facebook isn't. Reddit is blocked, but YouTube isn't. I'm trying to build a strategy for a team and all my resources are blocked.
Keep in mind that if I was able to form a strategy, I would ditch it in a panic the very fist time something went wrong.
